Albuquerque Police are still looking for one of two suspects in a violent carjacking Monday afternoon at an apartment complex in the Foothills. APD’s Simon Drobik says a man and woman carjacked a vehicle, which officers later located and followed to Central and San Pablo. The man, Jeffrey Lossing, was arrested while on the run, caught when he dropped a gun and tried to retrieve it.
The female did retrieve the weapon and kept running. Drobik tells us that with Lossing in custody, they should have an ID on her soon. The vehicle was returned to its owner.
Drobik says never chase down any carjacking suspect.
