It’s time once again to sign up for coverage through New Mexico’s Health Insurance Exchange. Open Enrollment begins Tuesday at bewellnm.com, and runs through January 31st. Premiums next year will be much higher. A 24% increase, on average, at Molina Healthcare, a 33% increase at New Mexico Health Connections, and an 80% increase at Blue Cross Blue Shield. Many New Mexicans will be eligible for financial assistance. This year, more than 50,000 people got private health insurance coverage through New Mexico’s Health Exchange. That number is expected to increase 20% next year.
