New Mexico begins issuing Real ID- compliant drivers licenses in a couple of weeks, but you don’t need to do anything until your current license expires. The new licenses will allow you access to commercial flights and federal facilities. The state will also start rolling out driver’s authorization cards for people in the country illegally.
