New Mexico may not get as much snow this winter and the temperatures should be above average. That’s what government forecasters are saying in their latest outlook. Sean Bennett, the Chief Meteorologist for the National Weather Service in Albuquerque, says that means less than normal mountain snow pack.
Bennett says a La Nina pattern is setting up in the Pacific Ocean, which usually means warmer, drier conditions in the Southwestern U.S.
