New Mexico continues to lag behind the rest of the country when it comes to high school graduation rates. New numbers fro the federal government show that, for the 2014-2015 school year, New Mexico was dead last among the 50 states for students graduating on time. at 68.6 percent. That’s virtually unchanged from the year before.
The national average was more than 83 percent, which is a new record high.
