Andrew Romero will never be a free man again. He was sentenced Friday to life in prison without the possibility of parole for killing Rio Rancho police officer Gregg Benner last year. Romero was convicted of first degree murder last week in a Los Lunas courtroom. The woman that was with him when he killed Officer Benner, Tabitha Littles, was sentenced to 16 years in prison for her involvement in the officer’s death. She had made a deal with prosecutors in exchange for her testimony against Romero
