PNM, the State’s largest utility, has been granted a 10 percent rate hike by the Public Regulation Commission. That’s less than the 14 percent increase requested by PNM, but more than the 6 percent recommendation from the PRC Hearing Officer. The decision ends a contentious hearing process that lasted nearly two years.
