Pets of the Week | July 16

Our little Smokey from last week was adopted! We are going from tiny to a bit larger this week with Freckles and she is every bit as sweet and affectionate. There are over 900 animals at our City Shelters.  Our fearless marketing director Desiree Cawley wanted to mention our adoption special going this weekend, July 15th through July 17th at all three of our locations.

NO TIME TO WASTE ADOPT A PET!

Stop toying with the idea of adopting and come in to find your best friend at Animal Welfare Department, where you’ll find reasons galore to add a dog or cat to your family and home. Think of the welcome joy you will derive from whisker kisses and pet curly tails in your own home.

If pet happiness isn’t enough, pounce on this: adoption fees have been clawed to only $5 for any pet older than six months.

There are over 900 animals at our City shelters. Animal Welfare hopes the public will give a home to some of these wonderful pets. As always each adoption will include spay or neuter, a microchip, and all vaccinations required by law.

◊          Freckles is just the sweetest, most affectionate cuddle bug you will ever meet.

◊          Yes, she can be a tiny bit shy at first but she warms up quickly and offers kisses so be prepared to loose your heart.

◊          Freckles really enjoys her daily walks.

She is pretty good on leash but she has an athletic build, strong at times so a harness is best-how about a pink one for this lady?

◊          She may be a sturdy young lady but primarily a soft gentle girl.

◊          Freckles has been a frequent “office date” at our shelter. This girl is quiet as a mouse during work time happily curled up on her dog bed.

She’d love to accompany you for “take your dog to work day”, maybe every day?

◊          No outdoor dog here! Freckles is far too affectionate and adoring of her people. Belly rubs are a favorite activity.

◊          This fair haired/furred gal will need some doggie sunscreen to protect her ears and nose on those morning/afternoon walks.

☺        Come meet our well mannered, gentle fair furred snuggle bunny at our Eastside location of Albuquerque Animal Welfare.

Take her to a quiet place so you can meet the true sweet heart she is.
