I assume the boycott of the Oscars is still on, by black actors and actresses. But after last week’s self-absorbed video featuring Jada Pinkett-Smith calling for a boycott of the Oscars by all races, because a lack of black acting nominees, only three people have actually boycotted the event. Jada, husband Will and Spike Lee. This of course stems from the fact that Will Smith did not get nominated for the movie Concussion, I did not see the movie and probably won’t until it ends up and free TV in about 8 years. But you know as well as I do that if Will would have got nominated there would be no boycott. What a childish display by these spoiled celebrities, the truth is, in the last 20 years 12% of the acting nominations went to blacks, and guess what, blacks make up about 12% of the US population.
