FBI Investigates hacking
The FBI is now investigating several celebrities whose phones or other devices were hacked and the contents displayed over the internet on several different websites over the weekend. Of course many of the photos were of the nude variety, stars like Kate Upton in the shower with her Baseball playing boyfriend Justin Verlander, A-Lister Jennifer Lawrence, Rhianna, Jenny McCarthy, and even former Olympian McKayla Maroney, along with countless others. What is interesting is that many of these stars have been naked on camera and all over the internet before, but this time a crime has been committed…someone basically distributed their property. But who is at fault, the hacker or the websites who posted? I feel it is the hackers sole responsibility…you cannot rely on a website who lets users post anything they want, to vet everything that gets uploaded. If someone shows up at my house with a case of beer, I'm going to drink one. I'm not going ask if it was stolen or not. In the end these hacked celebrities only got a bruised ego and maybe a bit of embarrassment and I don't think we will lose any sleep over this.
