RIO RANCHO, N.M. (AP) Rio Rancho police say one man has died after his car collided with several vehicles in an intersection. Sgt. Nicholas Onken says 34-year-old Fredrick Christensen, of Farmington, was heading eastbound on NM 550 near NM 528 around 2 p.m. Sunday when his car drove into oncoming traffic.
Onken says Christensen struck several vehicles. Christensen was pronounced dead at the crash scene. Authorities say another driver and a passenger in another vehicle were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators have not ruled out alcohol or drugs as a contributing factor.
