COUNTY TREASURER FACES AGGRAVATED BATTERY CHARGE

RIO RANCHO, N.M. (AP) A New Mexico county treasurer is facing an aggravated battery charge after police said she punched and bit her boyfriend. KOB-TV reports that Laura Montoya was recently arrested stemming from a fight over phone photos.

According to police, Laura Montoya asked her boyfriend to delete pictures of her from his phone. Authorities say when he refused she took the phone, bit his arm and punched him in the face.
