‘BOIL WATER ADVISORY’ ISSUED IN MORA COUNTY

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) State environmental officials have issued a “boil water advisory'' for portions of Mora County over E. coli concerns. KRQE-TV reports the New Mexico Environment Department sent out the advisory after routine tests last week showed the presence of E. coli in the Agua Pura Water System. That system serves about 125 homes and is located 14 miles north of Mora, N.M.

Consumers are advised to boil any water that will be used for drinking, washing dishes or bathing until further notice.
