SANTA FE, N.M. (AP) Santa Fe police say a man who entered a store with two women and four children used one of the children to help steal four tablets worth a total of $700. According to police, surveillance video shows the man picking up the tablets before he asked for the store's bathroom key while in the store Tuesday evening.
Police say the man and the boy then went into a bathroom where the man allegedly took the tablets out of their boxes and stuffed them into the backpack of a boy who appeared to about 6 years old. The group then left the store.
According to police, the four children in the group included two boys and two girls, approximately 3 to 10 years old.
