FARMINGTON, N.M. (AP) The Farmington City Council is considering whether to raise a handful of fees at Four Corners Regional Airport for certain private aircraft operations. The Farmington Daily Times report that the airport-fees resolution that will be discussed Tuesday by the council calls for an increase in fees for the use and rental of shade covers. It also adds new fee categories for large hangars, aircraft passenger air stairs and other services.
Assistant City Manager Bob Campbell says many of the new fees are geared toward helping ensure reliable service for the airport's private noncommercial pilots.
