Accused Killer Trial Set

A ROSWELL MAN ACCUSED OF MURDERING HIS ENTIRE FAMILY WILL GO ON TRIAL EARLY NEXT YEAR. THE ROSWELL DAILY RECORD REPORTS THAT 38 YEAR OLD JUAN DAVID VILLEGAS-HERNANDEZ IS SCHEDULED TO GO ON TRIAL BEGINNING FEBRUARY 18TH. HE’S ACCUSED OF SHOOTING TO DEATH HIS WIFE CYNTHIA VILLEGAS AND THEIR FOUR DAUGHTERS, RANGING IN AGE FROM THREE TO 14. THEIR BODIES WERE FOUND INSIDE THE FAMILY’S HOME IN JUNE OF 2016.

VILLEGAS-HERNANDEZ HAS PLED NOT GUILTY TO FIVE COUNTS OF FIRST DEGREE MURDER AND FOUR COUNTS OF INTENTIONAL ABUSE OF A CHILD RESULTING IN DEATH.
