APD Officer Pleads

AN APD OFFICER WHO WAS FIRED AFTER ROUGHING UP A SUSPECT PLEADS NO CONTEST TO A SINGLE COUNT OF BATTERY. FORTY-ONE YEAR OLD JOHN HILL WAS CAUGHT ON VIDEO SLAMMING JACKSON HOWE’S HEAD INTO A WALL IN A HOLDING CELL IN FEBRUARY.

HOWE HAD BEEN TAKEN INTO CUSTODY ON CHARGES OF DISORDERLY CONDUCT, TRESPASSING, AND ATTEMPTED BATTERY.

HILL WILL BE ON UNSUPERVISED PROBATION FOR SIX MONTHS…AND WILL ALSO HAVE TO PERFORM 40 HOURS OF COMMUNITY SERVICE.
