Five People, Not Six Dead in Two Separate Albuquerque Shootings

ALBUQUERQUE POLICE ARE STILL INVESTIGATING TWO SEPARATE SHOOTINGS FROM THURSDAY NIGHT THAT WE NOW KNOW LEFT A TOTAL OF FIVE, NOT SIX PEOPLE DEAD. FOUR OF THOSE WHO DIED WERE SHOT NEAR BRIDGE AND GOFF IN THE CITY’S SOUTH VALLEY. A TOTAL OF SIX PEOPLE WERE SHOT THERE … BUT TWO HAVE NON-LIFE THREATENING INJURIES AND WILL SURVIVE.

AT FIRST, POLICE REPORTED THREE PEOPLE WERE KILLED IN THAT SHOOTING. BUT IT WAS RAISED TO FOUR PEOPLE DEAD AROUND 1:00 O’CLOCK FRIDAY MORNING AFTER OFFICERS WERE PROVIDED WITH AN UPDATE. THE TWO PEOPLE INJURED ARE BEING TREATED AT THE HOSPITAL. BOTH ARE EXPECTED TO SURVIVE.

ANOTHER SHOOTING ON ALBUQUERQUE’S WEST SIDE OCCURRED IN THE 19-HUNDRED BLOCK OF LADERA THURSDAY NIGHT, LEAVING ONE PERSON, NOT TWO PEOPLE DEAD. THEY WERE PRONOUNCED DEAD AFTER BEING TRANSPORTED TO THE HOSPITAL, AFTER WHICH IT WAS FOUND ONE OF THE DECEASED WAS ACTUALLY IN CRITICAL CONDITION.

A TOTAL OF FOUR PEOPLE WERE SHOT IN THE SOUTH VALLEY AND, NOW, THREE ARE RECOVERING AT THE HOSPITAL.

POLICE WERE SENT TO THE SCENE AT THE RIO VOLCAN APARTMENTS ON THE WEST SIDE AND FOUND THE PEOPLE SHOT. ONE OF THE VICTIMS THEY FOUND AT THE WALMART AT COORS AND I-40.
