Police Arrest Six in Murder Near Espanola

SIX PEOPLE NOW FACE CHARGES IN LAST WEEK’S MULTIPLE SHOOTING NORTH OF ESPANOLA THAT KILLED ONE PERSON AND LEFT THREE OTHERS INJURED. STATE POLICE SAY TWO TEENAGE GIRLS, KATRYNA MOYA AND ALEJANDRA GONZALES, WERE TAKEN INTO CUSTODY TUESDAY.

THE TWO ADMITTED THEY HELPED ONE OF THE ALLEGED SHOOTERS, MARK HICE, AND THE OTHER SUSPECTS DISPOSE OF EVIDENCE AND HIDE THE VEHICLES THAT WERE INVOLVED IN THE SHOOTING. STATE POLICE SAY GONZALES WAS THE DRIVER OF ONE OF THE VEHICLES AND MOYA A PASSENGER.

THE TWO ARE CHARGED WITH EVIDENCE TAMPERING AND CONSPIRACY TO COMMIT AGGRAVATED ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON.
