PNM Bills Questioned

UP TO 6-THOUSAND NEW MEXICANS WHO GET THEIR ELECTRICITY FROM PNM HAVE GOTTEN AUTOMATED PHONE MESSAGES FROM THE COMPANY ABOUT A PROBLEM THAT COULD IMPACT THEIR MONTHLY BILL. THEY RECEIVED CALLS THAT PNM WORKERS COULDN’T FIND THEIR METER … BUT IT TURNS OUT THOSE WORKERS WERE IN TRAINING FOR SEVERAL DAYS.

KOB-TV REPORTS THOSE CUSTOMERS’ BILLS WILL BE ESTIMATED INSTEAD OF BEING BASED ON A METER READING AT THEIR HOME. SOME THINK THE BILL WILL BE HIGHER DUE TO ESTIMATING, BUT IF YOU WANT TO TAKE YOUR METER READING YOURSELF, DO THAT AND TURN IT IN TO PNM EITHER OVER THE PHONE OR ONLINE.
