Feds Fund Improved Laguna School

LAGUNA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN CIBOLA COUNTY WILL GET 26 MILLION DOLLARS FROM THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT TO BUILD A NEW FACILITY. THE ANNOUNCEMENT WAS MADE WEDNESDAY BY INTERIOR SECRETARY RYAN ZINKE.

THE SCHOOL WILL SERVE 220 STUDENTS FROM KINDERGARTEN THROUGH FIFTH GRADE. IN 2016 THE BUREAU OF INDIAN AFFAIRS SELECTED TEN SCHOOLS FOR REPLACEMENT…AND LAGUNA IS THE FIRST TO COMPLETE THE PLANNING PHASE.
